HDC and its partners have been hard at work continuing to develop two more affordable housing communities.

Beach Run features 51, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments to provide safe, affordable housing for families in Fredericksburg, PA (Lebanon County). The community is really starting to take shape, with recent progress including the installation of the roof, windows and doors at one building.
HDC would like to thank its development partners Arthur Funk and Sons Construction, PHFA, CREA and Fulton Bank for believing in HDC’s mission. Thanks to everyone working together to overcome unique challenges in 2020, we’re making Beach Run a reality!
The Flats Phase III adds another 77 affordable homes for families to The Flats Community in Wilmington. The development is way on its well to being fully occupied with 27 residents already moved in! The Flats is conveniently located closely to Woodlawn Library, Woodlawn Park and public transportation.

We’d like to thank our partners, owner Todmorden Foundation, Cinnaire, DSHA, and WSFS Bank for their continued support as we advance our mission of building hope and opportunity in Delaware.
The need for affordable housing in Wilmington is clear as we have received almost 300 applications. For more information or to request an application, please email info@hdcweb.com.

Every voice matters. At HDC, we are committed to raising up resident voices and opening doors so that residents can actively participate in the democratic process, speak out on issues important to them and their communities, and communicate how policies affect their everyday lives. We believe it is important to make the time and space to listen, and to support resident leaders in effectively using their voices. We support resident advocacy opportunities through our Resident Academy of Leadership & Inspiration, Voter Registration Drives, and holding constituent meetings and tours with elected officials.

We are here to provide solutions that work and offer affordable housing expertise that demonstrates the impact policy decisions have on lower-income families, seniors and those with disabilities. We work closely with and participate in alliances and coalitions to educate and advance shared policy priorities. Our advocacy partners include:
